Enzo couldn’t recall. In fact, he was fairly certain it was long before the hotel had opened. Now as he wandered through the trees along the dirt path, he barely remembered it. The safari zone was a quaint place, at least. Astra dogged his heels—watchful and reserved. He wondered if maybe sometime Miu might like to visit. It might make for a fun day trip to a little kid.[break][break]

Nearby, bushes rustled, snagging the attention of both himself and his lycanroc.

[attr="class","text"]What appears is not something that Enzo expects. “A fish out of water.” Spoken flatly as the wishiwashi flops loose from the foliage. It must have gotten itself stuck. Catching the thing isn’t really on his mind as he scoops it up in his hands.[break][break]

But he’s at least benevolent enough to plop the fish back into the water before dusting his hands and then continuing on with his walk.

An eyebrow only perks when a galarian zigzagoon peers from around the side of a tree. “I know someone who might like you very much,” he mumbles, the bright blue of mint frost’s hair floating to the front of his mind. Doesn’t he usually have one of these scurrying about with him?[break][break]

A sharp whistle sends astra boltund forward. Pillars of earth shoot up around the zigzagoon and knock it back until it’s trapped in her STONE EDGE. With a satisfied smile, he lobs a safari ball of the top of the rocky cage.

Once it’s pocketed, Enzo resumes the walk he’d been on, with the lycanroc dogging his heels. He pays no mind to the clutter of clamperl along the shore of the nearby pond as cool eyed turn the opposite direction. Toward a more wooded area.

When had he dropped that? “Ah, thank you.” Before he takes it, the Pokémon lets electricity surge into it, and when he looks at the screen, the battery’s been charged. “You can stick around, if you like.”

It is in doing so that he spots the unfamiliar pokemon, resting under a tree. "Never seen one of you before.." he mumbled, more to himself out of curiosity. He crept forward quietly, intrigued by the plume of colorful flame on its head. Before it could notice him and dart away, he threw a pokeball - banking on the element of surprise.
